West Catholic Class of 2021 - Senior Prom

Event coverage is definitely one of my favorite things to do, but covering events like proms and other dances?! Even better. This group of kids is something special. They are a fantastic friend group, filled with talented, gifted, hilarious, gentle souls. They have been the subjects of my photography for years now, as they are band and theater students, and I have been the band photographer for the last three years. I have taken some of their senior portraits, band photos, theater coverage, and other dance photos. Most of their high school experience has been documented on my camera, so getting to capture their final days in green and white was so, so fun. I spent the whole day with them getting ready for prom, snapping away and helping them put the finishing touches on their hair, makeup, and dresses. We took lots of photos here at Fish Ladder, on top of this very windy parking deck, and I would follow them around like paparazzi again at their Graduation ceremony in a couple weeks. Watching them grow up through the lens of the camera has been so fun, and I am blessed to know this fantastic group of individuals. They're off to college now, doing great things and acing their classes, but it's great to see them when they come home and visit my brother (the tall redhead three in from the left). Plus, getting to help them dress up and take fun photos of them for their "last big event" was super special.
